Mini-Bio:
Mikelle Virey was born on December 3, 1983 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the eldest of two children. His father, Maselle, is a psychiatrist and his mother, Miguelita, is a registered nurse.

Starting from the age of 4, Mikelle performed for audiences on his violin but by high school that quickly changed to drums performing with several bands throughout university.

In 2005, Mikelle graduated from the University of Toronto (St. George) with a double-major in Theatre (Performance) and Classics. Since graduating, Mikelle has had the pleasure of appearing on stage in Edward Albee's "Everything in the Garden" as one of three leads, as Dionysus in a modern adaptation of Euripedes' "The Bacchae" entitled "The Height of Madness" and in the 2010 Chester Cycle as Jesus.

After a few years acting in theatre and films, Mikelle decided to pursue his love for film even further and made the jump to directing. After graduating from Sheridan College's Advanced Television and Film program he has directed several shorts and also the web-series Kid's Town.
